The Snowman

Thriller based on the book by Jo Nesbø, the story follows Detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) who investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an a sinister-looking snowman. As Hole investigates he begins to suspect it’s the work of a serial killer. Cast includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, J.K. Simmons, and Chloë Sevigny.

Call Me By Your Name

This coming-of-age drama made a splash at Sundance thanks to its sensitive and visually stunning treatment of a summer romance between a young man living in Italy in the 1980s and a friend of his parents. Based on the 2007 novel by American writer André Aciman this adaptation is directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer.

Murder On The Orient Express

Thriller mystery directed by Kenneth Branagh based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The story follows renowned Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (Branagh) who investigates the murder of a wealthy American traveling through Europe on the Orient Express. The cast includes Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley.

Sci-fi drama based on the book of the same name by Jeff VanderMeer. The story centers on an expedition made up of a biologist (Natalie Portman), an anthropologist, a psychologist (Jennifer Jason Leigh), and a surveyor, who sign up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don’t apply.
